Everybody who wants to support us and can find themselves in our policy can be a member. As a member you will be informed about activities. Conference CPP & ILGCC big success LGBT Business representatives from Great Britain, Canada, France, Singapore and other countries gathered the 10th of June at the Muziekgebouw aan het IJ to participate at a conferece organised by the Company Pride Platform and the International Lesbian & Gay Chamber of Commerce. It was a very inspirational day to learn more abouth the LGBT issues within big companies (11-06-2010).

Allies to America: Gays Do Not Destroy Military ReadinessRepresentatives from Great Britain, Canada, Australia, Israel and the Netherlands gathered Wednesday at the Brookings Institution, a think tank in Washington, to describe how the militaries in those countries handled allowing homosexuals to serve openly. The SHk was represented by MAJ Peter Kees Hamsta, chairman and MAJ Wilko Mulder, boardmember. The consensus was that, in spite of concerns before the change, it became a nonissue once gays and lesbians were allowed to serve.

SHEEHAN TELLS DUTCH MILITAIRTY CHIEF "He’s Sorry"
According to a source with the Joint Force Command in Brunssum, The Netherlands, retired Marine Corp General and former NATO Commander, John Sheehan has reportedly apologized to former Dutch Chief of Staff Henk van den Breemen over remarks he made in a Senate hearing where he said that Dutch soldiers failed to prevent the 1995 Srebrenica genocide because of openly gay soldiers.Sheehan made his controversial remarks during a U.S. Senate hearing earlier this month, as he argued against Obama Administration plans to end Don’t Ask-Don’t Tell, the ban on gays openly serving in the U.S. military.
Sheehan reportedly sent an e-mail to Van den Breemen earlier this week, saying his memory of discussions the two had fifteen years ago about some social issues were ‘inaccurate.’ Sheehan also said that individual Dutch soldiers were in ‘no way’ responsible for the massacre, but said the problem was the ‘mandate’ for the soldiers.
In his Senate testimony earlier this month, Sheehan had claimed that someone named "Hankman Berman" had told him that openly gay soldiers in the Dutch army were one of the reasons that U.N. troops were not able to prevent the genocide.
