Remembrance day

Each year at the 4th of may at 19.58 the Dutch remember their victims of WorldWar 2 and their victims of war till the present by being silence for two minutes.

At the Westerchurh in Amsterdam there is a special monument voor LGBT victims in WW2 and other wars but is also a rembrance for the LGBT vicutims of (hate)crimes.

Each year the SHK is present with a delegation together with other gay foundations such as the Amsterdam police and ambulance paramedics. Last week the SHK was present with a delegation of 21 militairy gaymen and women.
